Titles: Shrill, Pastel Lines This hat is a memory of all the hockey games I would go to with my dad when I was younger. It used to be something I really loved, mainly because of the food. We'd get Little Ceasar's and chill in the rink the whole time. We'd place bets on the different guys we thought were gonna score, and I usually got five dollars out of it.
Titles: Belly Flop, Sleepy Another toy from my childhood, in this case one that I kinda mutilated with a sharpie and some scissors. At the time, it was her getting a makeover, but now it's more than a little creepy. I used to send her as the cartoonish add-on to the things I'd create with my horses. She'd be the comic relief, providing all the humor. But I usually made her die in the end...
Titles: Leaning, Static I don't know when I stopped using this, but I used to wear it everyday when I was younger. I liked how it felt, and I also loved how it made my lips glittery. Honestly, I was a little easy to please as a child, but I'm grateful for that. The main thing about this is that it's my grandmother who got me hooked on it. It's a good memory of her, so I always keep some in the house.
Titles: Regal, Glorious As a kid, I used to love collecting these realistic animal figurines, especially those of horses. I found it was more fun to play with toys that actually resembled the creatures. These are probably what kickstarted my love for writing in general. Being able to make up fantasy worlds in my head, send them on long adventures, or just make them have fun at home. I will always credit these for my creative discovery.
Titles: Sun Flare, Gleaming This is one of my first toys, and it's something I take care of to this day. I named this car "Blue" when I was four years old, and have refused to changed the name since. Blue has always been the antagonist because the animals couldn't keep up with how he thought, being a vehicle. It wasn't always easy to write my main man into the evil position, but I did it. Mainly because he was the only toy who even LOOKED vaguely evil.
